Witchcraft are a doom metal band from Sweden. Strongly inspired by the early '70s rock, they play with a heavy and slightly psychedelic rock style typical of other similar stoner doom metal bands. They are often compared to Black Sabbath (due to Sabbath's massive influence on doom metal) or Jethro Tull, though they do have their own personal sound.

Creepy, acid drenched Krautrock fuzz, Seremonia worships at the altar of MC5, Coven and even early Alice Cooper but without aping them.
With lyrics all in their native Finnish, and the swirling echoes of male / female vocals, and the slightly robotic, but also weirdly erotic voice of vocalist Noora Federley, it seems that Finland has spawned one of the most surprising bands of the Folk / Psych / Occult renaissance. If Seremonia's self-titled debut wasn't released on Svart Records this year, you'd swear to have unearthed a long lost private pressing from the moment the sixties turned into the seventies.

Yllättävän hyvin toimikin Witchcraft, uus levy ollut aika kliini, ettei ollut silleen odotuksia. FB-event ei kerännyt porukkaa ja aattelin et porukat jo nähneet bändin niin monta kertaa etteivät vaivaudu paikalle. Mut yllättävän hyvin olikin jengiä. Laulajan elehommat meni vähän koomisuuden puolelle, en muista et aiemmin olis tullut tollasta vaikutelmaa? Mut lauluääni kyllä pelitti, ja biisit oli aivan loistavia. Crimson was my colour jeee!

Seremoniakin jopa toimi, vaikka pientä kyllästymistä tässä kun puolentoista kuukauden sisään jo kolmas kerta kun ovat lämppäämässä jotain bändiä jota on mennyt katsoon. Hypehypehype.
