LainaaHarvinaista herkkua on tarjolla 7.11. kun Kirjakahvilaan saapuu latvialainen nouseva indierock-tulokas Audience Killers. Keikka on bändin ainoa Turussa, jonne yhtye saapuu Tallinnasta tv-kuvauksista ja suuntaa seuraavana päivänä keikalle Helsinkiin ja Luomustudion videokuvauksiin.Having formed in 2010, indie pop trio swiftly released their first 2 songs, which brought them recognition throughout Latvia's indie scene. Their music features melodic guitar motions, synth beats and a distinct vocal, that all morph into a dreamy bundle/cloud of rhythmic delight.The band, who perform in English, released their debut EP 'Footprints And Hearts' in July 2012 on Lauren Laurén record label. 'Footprints And Hearts' were recorded in Riga (mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios in London), collaborating with producer and musician Edgars Žilde (Augusts IV). Latvian music magazine 'Muzikas Saule' called this album - "Honey Toast for melodic and sentimental pop music listeners". Their first single 'The Runaway Kite' has received critical and popular acclaim. After debut release Audience Killers were invited to play biggest Baltics festival 'Positivus' who described band as one of the most prominent Latvian indie pop rock artists of the moment. The band have performed at several other key music festivals as well as smaller venues in Latvia and Estonia for past 2 years. Audience Killers live performance often has been described as a mixture of Danish alternative rock band Mew, UK's Delphic and Massachusetts-based indie rock band Passion Pit. Unlike their records, the performance consists of one single exploration during which the trio go through a series of subgenre changes and push their collaborative effort as far as it can sustain. As well as danceable beats back interlocking rhythms and an outstanding falsetto vocal. Primarily pop but so much more interesting.Audience Killers will release their new single 'Two Bare Feet' on November 5th 2013. This is the band's first piece of new music since the release of their debut EP 'Footprints and Hearts' back in the summer of 2012. Written and produced by band itself, new single slightly stands out from their previous records with both intimate and ambitious, blending synthesizer sounds with soaring saturated vocals and a touch of '90s pop.
